Light Purple Wide Border & Checks Kerala Kasavu Tissue Silk Saree

A Kerala kasavu saree woven in tissue silk, with a gold kasavu border and a wide light purple band along the border with a checked pattern and fine stripes. The gold kasavu border has a soft sheen rather than a harsh glitter, which is what separates a good tissue kasavu from a cheap one. The saree is finished with tassels along the pallu. Worn for festival mornings, temple visits and traditional ceremonies.
