Thank you for shopping with Swan Silks - House of Sarees. We are committed to delivering your beautiful silk sarees and products safely and efficiently. This Shipping Policy outlines our delivery processes, timelines, charges, and related information in compliance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
2. Shipping Locations
2.1 Domestic Shipping (India)
We deliver to all states and union territories across India, including remote and difficult-to-access areas. Some PIN codes may have limited courier coverage, which may result in longer delivery times or additional charges.
2.2 International Shipping
We ship internationally to select countries. Currently, we deliver to:

• Canada
• Australia
• United Arab Emirates
• Singapore
• Malaysia
• Germany
• France
• Other countries – please contact us to check availability

3. Order Processing Time
All orders are processed within 1-3 business days (Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays) after payment confirmation. You will receive an email confirmation with your order details once your order is placed, and a shipping confirmation with tracking information once your order is dispatched.
Please note:
• Orders placed on Sundays or public holidays will be processed on the next business day
• Orders placed after 2:00 PM IST may be processed the following business day
• Custom or made-to-order products require additional production time (see Section 7)
• During festive seasons (Diwali, Onam, wedding season), processing may take 2-4 business days
4. Estimated Delivery Timelines
Delivery times are calculated from the date of dispatch, not the date of order. Estimated delivery times are as follows:

Remote Area Surcharge: An additional ₹50-₹150 may apply for deliveries to remote PIN codes. This will be displayed at checkout.
5.2 International Shipping Charges
International shipping charges are calculated based on destination country, package weight, and dimensions. The exact shipping cost will be displayed at checkout before you complete your order. Typical international shipping charges range from ₹1,500 to ₹4,500 depending on the destination.

The courier partner for your order will be selected based on your delivery location and the shipping option chosen. We reserve the right to change courier partners to ensure optimal delivery.
7. Custom and Made-to-Order Products
Custom-made, personalised, or made-to-order products require additional time for production before shipping:
• Custom Blouse Stitching: 7-10 business days production + shipping time
• Made-to-Order Sarees: 14-21 business days production + shipping time
• Personalised/Embroidered Items: 7-14 business days production + shipping time
• Special Weaves/Exclusive Designs: 21-45 business days production + shipping time
You will receive updates on production progress for custom orders. Please factor in these timelines when ordering for special occasions.
8. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing:
• Courier partner name
• Tracking number / AWB number
• Link to track your shipment
• Estimated delivery date
You can track your order by visiting the courier partner's website or by logging into your account on our website. For any tracking issues, please contact us at swansilks1001@gmail.com with your order number.
9. Cash on Delivery (COD)
Cash on Delivery is available for domestic orders within India, subject to the following conditions:
• Order Value: COD is available for orders between ₹1,000 and ₹25,000
• COD Charges: ₹50 additional charge for COD orders
• PIN Code Availability: COD may not be available for all PIN codes
• Payment: Please keep exact change ready at the time of delivery
• Verification: We may call to verify COD orders before dispatch
Note: COD is not available for international orders or custom/made-to-order products.
10. Packaging
We take great care in packaging your silk sarees and products to ensure they reach you in perfect condition:
• Each saree is carefully folded and wrapped in acid-free tissue paper
• Products are placed in our signature branded boxes or pouches
• Outer packaging includes tamper-proof courier bags or boxes
• Gift wrapping is available upon request (charges may apply)
• All packages are insured during transit
11. Customs and Import Duties (International Orders)
Important for International Customers:
International shipments may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or other charges levied by the destination country. These charges are not included in our product prices or shipping charges and are the sole responsibility of the customer.
• Customs policies vary by country; please check with your local customs office
• We are not responsible for any customs delays or additional charges
• Refused shipments due to unpaid customs duties will not be refunded
• We declare actual product value on customs forms as required by law
12. Delivery Issues
12.1 Delivery Attempts
Our courier partners will make up to 2-3 delivery attempts. If delivery is unsuccessful after all attempts, the package will be returned to us. Please ensure someone is available to receive the package at the delivery address.
12.2 Incorrect Address
Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate. We are not responsible for delivery delays or failures due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer. Address changes after dispatch may not be possible or may incur additional charges.
12.3 Lost or Damaged Packages
If your package is lost or damaged during transit, please contact us immediately at swansilks1001@gmail.com. We will work with the courier partner to resolve the issue. For damaged packages, please photograph the damage before accepting delivery if possible, or report within 48 hours of receipt.
12.4 Delayed Deliveries
While we strive to deliver within the estimated timelines, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including weather conditions, natural disasters, courier issues, customs delays, or other force majeure events. We will notify you of any significant delays and are not liable for such circumstances.
