Pinkish Red Thin Border Kerala Kasavu Tissue Silk Saree

A Kerala kasavu saree woven in tissue silk, with a gold kasavu border and slim pinkish red bands running along the border. The gold kasavu border has a soft sheen rather than a harsh glitter, which is what separates a good tissue kasavu from a cheap one. The saree is finished with tassels along the pallu. Worn for festival mornings, temple visits and traditional ceremonies.

Traditional gold jewellery suits it best, though a plain cream or matching blouse keeps the look clean and contemporary.
